Thank you for your support. Contributions are coming from many sources, including donated ticket revenue from cinemas and campuses around the U.S., private donations, and other sources.
Since its launch in March 2022, Stand with Ukraine through Film has arranged for The Guide to be shown in almost 700 cinemas across the United States and in Australia, Canada and Netherlands. The project has raised more than $150,000 to help the Ukrainian people.
Most people contribute simply by attending a screening of The Guide in their community; all participating cinemas are forwarding to us the resulting ticket revenue.
We operate in partnership with numerous organizations which are all donating their services. A key partner is Human & Civil Rights Organizations of America, Inc. (HCROA), which is processing donations made through this site or by check. See below for more on HCROA.

One hundred percent of donations (except for PayPal or credit card transaction fees) will be used to support Ukraine through humanitarian relief and public education. Grants are being awarded to international humanitarian organizations and smaller Ukrainian-American organizations with advice from Ukrainians in Kyiv and elsewhere, Ukrainian scholars in the US, and others. We are also supporting Ukrainians in that nation's film industry as they help document human rights atrocities.
We publish a full list of groups that receive funds including the amounts and dates of fund transfers. The current list can be found here ("How we handle the money").
Please note that some organizations may not be able to accept donations from this effort because they must carefully maintain neutrality during a war.
